Dr. Po Choi, MSPT, DPT, CLT is a physical therapist at Ageonics at both midtown and downtown location. Passionate about her profession, Po has successfully treated an extensive range of conditions, maladies, injuries and post-surgical interventions in her more than 15 years in the field. Her reputation for excellence precedes her accolades from the physicians of the Chinese American independent physician association ( CAIPA); the Association of Chinese American Physicians USA, Inc., ( ACAP) and the Eastern Chinese American Physicians IPA, Inc., (ECAP). All three association have lauded her membership, listing her as the top specialty doctor amongst the other clinicians for each of the years from 2007-2014.

My personal vision as a physical therapist is to always place my patients’ need as my first priority as those who deserve my greatest attention and care. I strive to maintain my professionalism at all times and keep updating my educational resources and techniques to ensure my patients are receiving the best care.

Her exceptional treatment style and broad base of knowledge include the treatment of patients with cancer who present with lymphedema issues, sprains/strains, joint replacement, and myriad other orthopedic and neurological pathologies. She has worked with internal medicine, oncologists, neurologists, podiatrists, physiatrists, pain management doctors, as well as orthopedic surgeons to partner in the healing process for the countless lives she has touched. Po has treated in many clinical settings, which include, hospital orthopedic, private out-patient, in-patient, home care and skilled nursing facilities with impeccable results to her credits.

Po is a down-to-earth practitioner who listen well to her patient’s concerns in order to achieve a mutual established goal and plan of care for all her patients. She has earned her Bachelor of Science, Masters in Physical Therapy from Touro College School of Health Sciences at Bayshore campus. She has attained both degrees with the honor of receiving the Highest Clinical Achievement in her class. She then proceeded with attaining her Post Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and graduate as the first class of DPT at Touro College. She continuously dedicates herself to enhancing her clinical expertise’s with continuing education courses in Muscle Energy Technique, Myofascial Release Technique, Lymphedema Management as well as Mcconnell and Kinesio Taping. In addition, Po is a Certified Lymphedema Therapy (CLT) as attested via the Academy of Lymphatic Studies.
