ADD/ADHD Treatment - David Program
The David Program
When most of us think of brainwaves, we envision a complex system of neurological activity within the brain. What you may not know, is that brainwave therapy can play a part in relieving physical discomfort and its lingering emotional effects. This unique form of therapy involves harnessing the unique frequencies given off by your thoughts.
Frequencies refer to the level of electrical activity inside your brain, created by the communication between billions of brain cells (called neurons). Exposure to certain frequencies enables your brain to mimic these frequencies, resulting in an ability to hone your focus, relax or even counteract pain.
Stimulating the brainwaves to produce these results is possible via the DAVID Delight Pro Mind Machine, created by David Siever, president of Mind Alive Inc., an electronics manufacturing and design company. The DAVID Program produces results akin to meditation or hypnosis through various pre-programmed sessions designed to achieve different results.
What types of illnesses does the DAVID Program treat?
The DAVID Program is capable of treating a wide-range of disorders and diseases. Specifically, the machine has garnered positive results with those suffering from the following illnesses:
- Arthritis pain
- Residual pain after a car accident
- Lupus pain
- PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
- ADD/ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit & Hyperactivity Disorder)
- TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder)
Is the DAVID Program safe?
Perhaps one of the most important facts about the David Machine is that it is completely safe – there are no known side effects, and it can be used by children, adults and the elderly. Mr. Siever emphasizes that the DAVID Program has been extremely influential in treating children with ADD and ADHD, and looks forward to continuing the development in other areas.
Which DAVID Program is right for me?
The DAVID Program is tailored to your needs. Simply select a session based on your goal and begin. If it’s the night before a big exam, the Brain Booster program will help recalibrate your ability to focus. If you are unable to sleep because your mind is racing, the Sleep program will help you to relax. The full list of programs include:
- Energize Program
- Meditate Program
- Brain Booster Program
- Sleep Program
- Mood Booster Program
If you are unable to meet your needs with the sessions described above, then simply design your own session and upload it to your DAVID device. Each program varies in length (ranging from 20-40 minutes long), and patterns of ocular and sound stimulation. The intensity of the DAVID device also varies from person to person and from program to program. Depending on your sensitivity, you can increase or decrease the force of the sound and light pulsations.
How does the device work?
The DAVID Program is pre-programmed with particular rhythms created by a sequence of lights and sounds. This pattern of light and sound reacts with your brain frequencies, creating a synchronization between the two. This harmonization then produces a favorable result in your mood or ability to concentrate.
How do I use the DAVID machine?
Follow the step-by-step guide below to using the DAVID Program. Again, it helps to have an open mind before selecting a program, so as to produce the most beneficial results.
- Step 1: Find a dark room in which to activate the machine. Studies show that the DAVID Program works optimally in a dark room.
- Step 2: Place the headphones over your ears and fasten the visor over your head.
- Step 3: Select one of the five programs, or your own uploaded program and close your eyes
- Step 4: Slowly breathe in and out while you feel different pulses of light passing over your eyelids.
- Step 5: In sync with the light pulsations, you will now feel a sonic pulse, creating a sturdy rhythm.
- Step 6: At the conclusion of the program, take off your headphone and visor, and start on the task you had originally set out to complete.
The DAVID Program has a clear cut goal of clearing the mind, focusing thoughts and relaxing the mind. When we “think,” whether it be passing thought, or a memory, we use brain frequencies. The type of frequencies employed by our brains changes depending on neural activity, stemming from the five senses. Of the five senses, hearing and sight are the two that the brain mimics best. Once the brain has been stimulated via a particular sound or sight frequency, our brain has the ability to mimic that same frequency. This phenomenon is called entrainment – or, the brain’s ability to communicate in a language all of its own: frequencies.
